Social care reform: No half-measures, campaigners urge

There must be no half-measures to the reform of social treatment in England, campaigners are warning, amid signs ministers are obtaining cold ft.

Eighty-five groups have published to David Cameron asking him to make urgent reform his individual mission, and also to host a summit to galvanise support.

A White Paper environment out new ideas, which includes how treatment is going to be funded within the long term, was due by Easter.

Ministers say it is now due to be released within the summer time.
